In 2009, Mr. Ted Wong co-founded the Group and serves as the Executive Director of the Board, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for the overall strategy, planning, and business direction. Born in Hong Kong in 1980, Mr. Wong graduated from the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and has over 30 years of experience in the optical industry. The Group's products hold a leading position in the optical field, covering a wide range of applications including industrial, professional civil, forensic, medical, and military sectors. Additionally, the Group has developed electrical and mechanical engineering solutions, focusing on critical transport systems in Hong Kong for more than 15 years.
Utilizing expertise in electrical, mechanical, and electronic engineering, along with a strong emphasis on design and research and development, we have established an integrated business model that encompasses design, construction, equipment manufacturing, and system implementation. This enables us to be a primary provider of E&M solutions and services in Hong Kong, capable of independently delivering a comprehensive range of customized products and services.
In 2018, Biten Group formed a joint venture with LED on Technologies to create a cutting-edge technology company focused on light applications and robotics development. In the LED/LEP and portable lighting industries, we offer industry-leading products and expert support to develop a variety of durable and reliable light sources.
As a market-leading developer, our product range includes forensic UV lamps for laboratory technicians and crime scene investigators, as well as GermFlare portable UVC lamps designed to effectively inactivate Covid-19, Staphylococcus aureus, and other harmful pathogens in healthcare settings.
In 2023, Biten Group partnered with Hami Box to focus on the development of environmental technology.
